I dont think I have had this much fun making an emote in a long time.

This basically shows exactly how I felt finding deviantart... Like I was being forced to be like everyone else I knew... because honestly artists are looked down on where I live.

Then this place showed me that WHO CARES WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK!? and it took a little while to sink in... but now Im to the point where I am actually fairly well known around my tiny little town as the artist... and now I have people coming to ME to do work for them thanks to deviantart having broken me from my original way of thinking.

Gosh, to think I have been around over half of the length of the time this place has been and look how much it has changed my life?

It broke me of thinking there was something wrong with me for wanting multicolored hair and piercings.

It showed me that my art isn't JUST some dumb little hobby and can actually be something other people enjoy.

I met the man I am going to marry next year on this site.

I met a ton of extremely close friends I have had the pleasure to hang out with in person.

I have spent countless hours, heartbreak and excitement on this site. I couldn't even begin to thank all of the staff who have ever made that possible. Deviantart has become my home away from home.



WOW I WROTE A NOVEL!

anyway specs:

238 frames.

took me 2 hours to do.

I did it the hard way and sort of regret that. Looking back I could have probably finished in an hour if I had taken the easy route.
