My oldest is now 16, my middle one just turned 14 and the baby, like yours is no longer a baby and will be 5 in a few months. The time flies and you can't figure it out, but these new years are such an adventure. I love babies, but I just borrow other people's now

The best part about that system is that when they get cranky ... they go home. I love my kids and I feel so sad that my baby is not a baby anymore, but part of me is rejoicing. We are all about to start a wonderful new adventure and I can't wait to get started. It does make me sad though sometimes when I see pictures of all of them smaller and I just hope they are ready for what is ahead and that I have done my job well as a mom.

Ry and I want our own... after we're married. I can't handle borrowing other peoples' kids because one of the parts I like best is the bond with my baby... oh and before that, the whole being pregnant part... well specifically the kicks.

My baby girl still kicks me in the stomach... but now it's only when she crawls into bed with me.

I totally understand

You two are just getting ready to start and Wayne and I are looking at coming up on almost 18 years together. We have had our babies, enjoyed them and are in a new place. The next babies we will enjoy (hopefully many years from now) will be grand babies. Sugar them up, give them loud toys and send them home... Karma baby, karma

Being pregnant is a wonderful thing and each time is so different. The one constant is that nothing is more wonderful than the baby kicking the daylights out of your lungs and whatever other internal organs it can reach. My little one still kicks me from time to time too and I always am reminded of how tiny she used to be.
